Cookie policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

Draft. This page is awaiting legal review and may change before launch.

The short version: we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites.

What we use

  • Cloudflare security cookies: our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from bots and attacks, for up to 30 minutes.

These are strictly necessary for the site to work, so they don’t need your consent. Your answers to our claim form are kept in the page while you fill it in, and aren’t stored in your browser.

How we measure the site

We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, and we count clicks on our “Start your claim” buttons (which page, and which button). Neither uses cookies or stores anything on your device, and neither identifies you or follows you to other websites. We use the totals to see which pages help people and to improve the site.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll ask for your consent first, with equally clear options to accept or reject, and update this page.
